Chris White - Chairman
Chris White, Age 53, Commercial Manager Aylesford Newsprint, Supported Gills since 1961 and have visited all of the wondeful venues such as Hartlepool, Halifax, Doncaster etc. Do not do as many of the away games now but can still be found on the coach occasionally.
Like to think of myself as a moderate who can stand up for himself and perhaps naively see Gills Supporters Trust as a vehicle to work closely with the Football Club and hopefully rebuild the trust between supporters and club that is so sadly lacking these days.
If you have any views or would like to join the Trust I can be found in Block 3 Row O seat 44 of the Rainham End on match days.
David Scudder - Company Secretary
Dave Scudder, 43 years old, Company Secretary for the M-real papermaking companies in Sittingbourne. I am a Chartered Secretary and delighted to be involved with the Supporters Trust to be able to give something back to the Club.
I have been a Gills supporter for some 29 years now, although I am not a season ticket holder as my son plays football at under 10's and has his training on Saturday lunchtimes !! I am also a qualified referee although I only referee in the Medway News Boys League.
Graham Gilbert - Treasurer
Clive Benjamin - Information Technology
I was born in Chatham in the late 50’s and have lived within Kent most of my life. My first visit to a Gills match was in the 1960’s with my father.
Apart from a supporter I am also a shareholder in Gillingham Football Club PLC. It was this shareholding that encouraged me to attend the first public meeting of the trust. At this meeting I met other principal shareholders who now run the supporters trust.
I work as a consultant for an information technology company. I have accreditation as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator.
My responsibility with the trust is to co-ordinate the IT requirements. This involved the implementation of this web site keeping costs to a minimum.
A season ticket holder in the lower tier of the Medway Stand you will find me in block E row G.
I am not a member of the independent supporters club.
If you have any questions about the trust you talk to me at home matches. I can also be contacted by using one of the enquiry forms on this web site.
Gerry Jasper - Membership Secretary
Born and live in Rochester, and worked in Chatham Dockyard until its closure.
I have operated as a health and safety professional for the last 20 years but I will retire in early 2006.
First attended a Gills match with my Father to see the 4-4 draw with Peterborough in 1960 and was a regular supporter through the 1960s. After a period away I returned in the 1980s when my own local football career ended. I have been a season ticket holder since the Gordon Road stand was built and also attend most away games.
If members have any questions concerning the Trust direct them to me and if I do not know, I will find out.
